PRIMARY CARE PROVIDER ADVISORY FOR GEORGIA MEMORY NET

The Georgia Memory Net (GMN) Primary Care Advisory Board (PCAB) is composed of primary care providers (PCPs) from our seven Memory Assessment Clinic (MAC) areas who offer valuable insights to help enhance care for Georgians living with Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias. Through strong partnerships with primary care, GMN seeks guidance, support, and feedback on key areas such as communication strategies and educational programs.
Each year, PCAB Members will be asked to:
- attend 3 one-hour quarterly meetings
- respond to up to 3 online surveys (estimated time of completion is 5 minutes per survey)
- review document, course, or project and offer advice/provide feedback
- attend one annual, in-person educational event (GMN Summit)
Several health systems, including Emory Primary Care, allow for incentives for leadership service on statewide boards. GMN will provide an attestation letter for completed service that can be used in support of incentive pay.
We currently have a PCAB opening for representation in Albany and Vidalia. If you are interested in joining the Primary Care Advisory Board, please contact Emma O. Matovu at [email protected].
