Therapists play a vital role in addressing the challenges facing those living with MCI/dementia and their care partners. Join us for this engaging, virtual workshop, where we will explore the intersection between mental health and cognitive decline, as well as how to adapt modalities to address the unique circumstances facing people living with MCI/dementia. Together, we will also discuss relationship dynamics, difficult conversations, and the impact of the therapeutic relationship between clinicians and their patients with MCI/dementia and their care partners. This workshop is approved for 5 hours continuing education credits for Georgia therapists, including LMSW, LCSW, LAPC, LPC, & LMFTs.
