Georgia Memory Net Primary Care Advisory Board

The Georgia Memory Net Primary Care Advisory Board is made up of primary care providers from across Georgia who contribute important insights to improve care for Georgians affected by Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias. By fostering strong partnerships with primary care, Georgia Memory Net seeks guidance, support, and feedback on key areas including new initiatives, communication strategies, and educational programs.

Each year, Primary Care Advisory Board members are asked to: 

  • Attend three one-hour virtual meetings
  • Complete up to three brief online surveys
  • Review selected documents, courses, or projects and provide feedback 
  • Participate in one annual in-person educational event (the GMN Summit)

Meet the Primary Care Advisory Board Members

Ambar Kulshreshtha, MD, PhD headshot

Ambar Kulshreshtha, MD, PhD

Region: Atlanta

Dr. Kulshreshtha is an associate professor in the family and preventive medicine department at Emory University. He did his residency training and PhD in Epidemiology at Emory. Before Emory, he completed his MPH at Harvard University and medical school training in New Delhi. Dr. Kulshreshtha is interested in the link between heart disease and dementia, preclinical biomarkers, and clinical trials for patients with mild cognitive impairment. He has published over 60 papers in journals such as Stroke, Circulation, and JAMA. He has also successfully funded grants from organizations such as the National Institutes of Health, Alzheimer’s Association, and other private organizations. At Emory, he sees patients in his primary care clinic and hospital settings. He collaborates with the Goizueta Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center, supporting study recruitment, longitudinal data analysis, and community lectures on dementia prevention.

Dr. Christina Noguera specializes in family medicine, providing comprehensive healthcare for patients of all ages. With 12 years of experience, she focuses on preventive care, routine health maintenance, and managing a wide range of medical conditions that affect individuals and families throughout their lives. She is affiliated with Upson Regional Medical Center and practices at two convenient locations in Georgia: Barnesville and Thomaston. Her training in family medicine allows her to build long-term relationships with patients while addressing their evolving healthcare needs across different life stages. She completed medical school at Mercer University School of Medicine in Savannah, GA, and completed Family Medicine Residency at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. She is fluent in Spanish. A majority of her practice is spent on treating the whole person, including mental health management. She focuses on quality over quantity in patient care.

Dr. Elizabeth Coe, DO, is a Family Medicine physician based in Greensboro, GA. She completed her residency in Family Medicine from 1989 to 1991 at Fort Wayne Medical Education. Her educational background includes a degree from A. T. Still University Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, and a BA in Languages and Biology, cum laude, from Eisenhower College of Rochester Institute of Technology. Dr. Coe is currently a physician at Oconee Valley Healthcare. She has a special interest in Alzheimer’s and in cognitive impairment concerns.

Dr. Radhika Prabhakar is an internal medicine physician with Northeast Georgia Health System in Gainesville, GA. A Georgia native, she went to medical school at the Medical College of Georgia and did her internal medicine residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, CA.   2.  Responses to up to 3 online surveys per year
  3. In person attendance at the GMN Summit
  4. Review Document, Course, Project, etc. and offer Advice/Provide Feedback (up to 60 minutes/item)

Appointment Term

Terms are 1–3 years and are renewed annually. Board members may optionally extend their appointment for an additional 1–2 years as part of a transition off the board. During this period, they are encouraged to identify and help onboard a successor for their seat.

How often does the Primary Care Advisory Board meet?

The board meets three times per year by invitation only. The 2026 meeting dates are as follows:

  • Thursday, February 12, 2026, 6pm – 7pm
  • Thursday, July 9, 2026, 6pm – 7pm
  • Thursday, November 12, 2026, 6pm – 7pm

Are there any vacancies?

Yes, we currently have an opening for a representative from Vidalia. Georgia-based primary care providers who are interested in serving from other regions are also welcome to submit an inquiry.
