A Message from Our Directors
Friends and Colleagues,
We are grateful for this opportunity to join together with you. Though we may be separated physically, we sense that we’re more connected than ever in these trying times.
Georgia Memory Net’s goal has always been to improve care and outcomes for older Georgians. Who could have foreseen that our already important purpose would suddenly become even more vital?
In this environment, we have an urgent obligation to lead efforts to improve care for older Georgians and to keep them safe in their communities. None of us would have ever asked for this reality, but we couldn’t wish for a better crew with whom to navigate these uncertain waters.
Today is a time to assess how far we’ve come. More importantly, it’s our chance to determine, together, where we’re going. As the state continues to confront terrible challenges, our incredible teams are discovering creative solutions to pursue our shared mission and expand the reach and service of Georgia Memory Net. Together, we will provide a model for others to follow and to make a difference for those we serve.
Sincerely,
James Lah, MD, PhD and Allan Levey, MD, PhD

Georgia Memory Net at a Glance
What is Georgia Memory Net and why does it exist? There’s so much information about Alzheimer’s and related dementias in Georgia, and how to diagnose and treat them, that it can become overwhelming. We’ve done our best to simplify the info into a clear one-page infographic.
